With a growing slate of strategic content partnerships for its Cycle Kids platform, Triskelion continues to create a well-rounded offer for children and parents to enjoy, and solidify its place in the international OTT landscape.

Set on a course for definite growth, Triskelion continues to invest in production and look for alliances, to strengthen its offer and solidify its place in the international audiovisual industry.

Over the last few months, the group has been working on a variety of original productions, including three docuseries, one of which will be shot in Japan. “We finished a teaser for our docuseries and we are proud of what it conveys”, said Ric Acevedo, president and executive producer at Triskelion Productions.

“This project, which will be shot in Japan, is all about the fun of Kaiju films, and what those films meant to geek culture and to an entire generation of kids growing up on syndicated programming”, he added.

The executive also highlighted a new script for an animated feature, which is currently being written. “As you know, animation is a lengthy process but with the script we have and the team that’s being assembled to produce it, we are excited for the future,” he said, highlighting the efforts made by Vlada Evtushenko, “a great young animator whose work on the teaser, and general work as an animator, is top quality.”

And in addition to original production, Triskelion continues to expand the presence of its OTT platform, Cycle Kids, which has grown consistently through new alliances and partnerships. Recently, the group announced deals with major players such as DeAPlaneta and the Jim Henson Company, as well as the acquisition of new kids’ titles like Turbozaurs.

“DeAplaneta has been an amazing partner, we’ve got a lot of very popular evergreen content which still holds a great deal of attention from the public,” the executive explained. “Titles like David the Gnome and Willy Fog are still well loved.”

“We were also fortunate to add Monchhichi, Baby Einstein and Tullipop thanks to the amazing team at Kaito entertainment,” he added.

“Recently we signed with the Jim Henson Company to license evergreens as well and we could not be more excited with the collaboration. The Jim Henson company is synonymous with iconic properties”, he said. “And we also just added Turbozaurs and are very happy to have that excellent series on. We look forward to a solid partnership with Tale Wind animation.”

Backed by these alliances and the positive feedback obtained from the industry, the path ahead for Cycle Kids is looking bright. “We want to continue to expand our catalogue, eventually we hope to get to where we can have a subscription model,” Acevedo revealed.

“We are looking at really rounding out our offerings so everyone in the family can have something to watch, whether it’s kids watching an 11 minute episode of Tullipop or their parents watching David the Gnome because they watch it as kids,” he explained.

Of course, none of this success would’ve come along without the joint efforts from the entire team at Triskelion Productions. “I want to take this opportunity to thank my team. Their determination and individuality has helped drive this engine forward. I’m really excited about what the future has to offer and look forward to continuing to share and showcase our journey,” the executive said.

“To all of the people we’ve partnered with so far, thank you for betting on us and, friendly reminder, the best is yet to come because we’ve only just begun,” he concluded.
