Perpetual Entertainment to produce the 10-part documentary series commissioned by Radial Entertainment for the US market. Keshet International will distribute the series in the rest of the world.
Keshet International and Krempelwood have partnered to co-finance Disaster Decoded, a new 10-part factual series commissioned by Radial Entertainment for the US market.
Produced by Perpetual Entertainment, the docuseries currently in production for early 2027.
The deal marks the first collaboration between Keshet International and Krempelwood, with the two companies boarding the project together to deficit finance Disaster Decoded.
Once produced, Radial Entertainment will retain all rights to exploit the series exclusively in North America, while Keshet International will distribute the 10×60’ series in the rest of the world.
Disaster Decoded is a compelling 10-part documentary series exploring some of the world’s most devastating catastrophes and the lasting impact they have had on how we understand risk, safety and survival. Spanning hurricanes, wildfires, aviation, maritime and space disasters, the series revisits defining events including the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the disappearance of Flight MH370.
Combining powerful archive, expert analysis and firsthand testimony, each episode reconstructs how disaster unfolded while uncovering the human stories, critical failures and decisions behind the headlines – revealing the lessons learned and those that continue to be ignored.
Brokered with the help of Marmalade Sky TV, this innovative four-way funding partnership builds on Keshet International’s existing relationship with Perpetual Entertainment, which previously produced Hitler’s Treasure Hunters as part of the international distributor’s Greenlight: Factual and Formats commissioning initiative. The 6×60’ history docuseries has since sold to more than 80 territories worldwide, with Disaster Decoded marking the latest collaboration between the two companies.

Co-financed by Keshet International and Krempelwood, Disaster Decoded is produced by erpetual Entertainment for Radial Entertainment. Currently in pre-production, the 10×60’ docuseries ill be directed by Justin Holdforth and produced by Lucy Tuley and Sarah Westhoff, with David Alrich as executive producer.
Keshet International will start pre-selling the series to international factual buyers at Mipcom in October.
