The longtime Viacom executive has joined Centauro Group as the newly appointed Director of Operations and Quality Control in their dubbing facilities in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Wanda Cardoso, a longtime Viacom executive, has joined Centauro Group as the newly appointed Director of Operations and Quality Control in their dubbing facilities in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In her new role, Cardoso is responsible for overseeing Centauro´s entire Brazilian dubbing and subtitling operation. She will ensure the continued delivery of the highest technical and artistic quality Portuguese versions and will nurture and strengthen relationships with local clients. Cardoso will work very closely with Antonio Figueiredo, General Manager of Centauro Brazil.

Cardoso spent 19 years at Viacom, holding different roles within the company. In the Customization Department, where she was responsible for subtitling, dubbing, editing, and final quality control operations of all materials broadcast in Brazil.

Cardoso was also Director of NICK, NICK@NITE, and VH1 Brazil channels, where she built a new team that worked on several significant projects, including the relaunch of MTV Brazil. In all her roles, Cardoso oversaw quality control of dubbed content and program strategies, which allowed for the promotion, distribution, and commercialization of Viacom’s content in the Brazilian market.
