The consultancy firm inaugurated another Fresh TV session, this time, devoted to titles inspired by unconventional themes like e-sports, brands and podcasts, featuring two productions from Spain.

The Wit continues to innovate at this year’s Miptv Digital, complementing its traditional Fresh TV Fiction and Formats sessions with brand new ones. This time, the consultancy firm introduced its Fresh TV Lab session, devoted to content inspired by e-sports, brands and podcasts.

“This is a brand new session at Digital Miptv and the goal is to open our eyes to new sources of inspiration”, said Virginia Mouseler, CEO of The Wit.

“E-sports is a growing entertainment option, not only for young people, but with a wider target. Of course, e-sports is primarily about online gaming and streaming platforms. But it’s now generating its own game show formats. Are they imitating TV or should TV imitate them?”, Mouseler said.
