“At Secuoya Content Group, we all live for the content,” Raúl Berdonés, executive director, summarized the current reality of the Spanish group.

“We have made an absolute 180 degree turn in everything we have been doing, where now the entire group, the services, marketing, events, everyone thinks about content,” he added.

It is because of this mentality of putting content that Secuoya is building “American-style” facilities, with large studios where all the artists of each project are included. “We are not only in the creation and development of our own content, but we have all the technical means, from lighting, cameras, optics, post-production and FX… We are developing the infrastructure so that we never lack those great forums and to be able to create those great series for ourselves and other companies,” explained the executive.

“This has led us to build what is Madrid Content City, one of the largest hubs in Europe and almost in the world. With a pioneering model, where we mix talent, industry and training. We were such pioneers that it led us to that interest was awakened on the other side of the pond, leading us to build Bogotá Content City, Mexico Content City, Guadalajara, Lisbon and in all places with the same idea, bringing training closer to the industry and the talent,” he revealed.

One of the most recent proofs of this renewed commitment to generating high-quality content is the premiere of Zorro, which exceeded all types of expectations at an international level.

“Without a doubt one of our outstanding products is Zorro, which a few days ago was launched in LatAm and the US with magnificent results that exceeded all our expectations. And now it is being launched on Amazon Spain and broadcast TV,” Bardonés highlighted.

“We believe that making Hollywood-style production on a very small budget is possible, and we are seeing it with Zorro. What is valuable today are the big productions, like Zorro, with more than 40 million dollars of investment,” he concluded.
