Inter Medya has announced a new distribution agreement for Halef, the Turkish drama produced by Most Production, which is now set to air in Italy as part of its ongoing international expansion.
Starring İlhan Şen, Aybüke Pusat and Biran Damla Yılmaz, the series is set in Şanlıurfa and combines emotional conflicts with a strong cultural representation of the region.
According to the distributor, the Italian deal further strengthens Inter Medya’s international catalog while reinforcing the global presence of Turkish productions in the television industry.
Since its debut, Halef has secured sales across multiple territories and has already aired in markets spanning MENA, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America. The company noted that the new agreement marks another milestone in the drama’s international journey.
Beyond its commercial performance, the production has been praised for its cinematography and authentic portrayal of local culture, while also generating strong engagement on social media and expanding its international fanbase.
Following the success of its first season, which ranked among the most-watched TV series in Turkey, Halef was officially renewed for a second season by Turkish broadcaster NOW.
With its upcoming launch in Italy, the series is expected to further cement its position as one of the Turkish dramas with the strongest international projection.
