The new season is slated to premiere on Hogar de HGTV and its sister network, Discovery Familia.

Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic announced today the renewal of its partnership with GroupM, COCINA (a unit of MECENAS), and beloved celebrity chef and Executive Producer Aarón Sánchez, for a highly anticipated second season of El toque de Aarón. Building upon the success of the first season, Chef Aarón Sánchez, alongside designer Cris Mercado and project manager Ángel Riveros, will once again take under their wings Latino-owned restaurants in Los Angeles, providing them with unparalleled mentorship and a pathway to refresh their businesses and help propel them to the next level. General Mills Yoplait and Ferrero Nutella will be seamlessly integrated into the storyline of the series.

The second season of El toque de Aarón is slated to premiere on Monday April 8 at 10pm on Discovery Familia and will also air on sister network Hogar de HGTV beginning April 13 at 8:30pm.

El toque de Aarón returns with a dynamic six-episode series that delves deep into the heart of Los Angeles’ Latino culinary scene and identifies local eateries with untapped potential and ready for transformation – from menu composition and aesthetics to execution and awareness. This season, Chef Aarón Sánchez, along with designer Cris Mercado (HGTV Star; Remodelaciones con Celebridades) and project manager Ángel Riveros (Hogar Star), elevates these hidden culinary gems to new heights, to bring out their true soul, with a revamped menu and a refreshed space.

Each 30-minute episode is a journey of discovery, as Chef Aarón uses his unique culinary expertise, mentoring the restaurant owners and sharing industry secrets to transform ordinary dishes into extraordinary experiences. With only four days to achieve this mission, the pressure is on, and the drama served.

El toque de Aarón Season 2 is Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic’s fourth content partnership in the past 24 months with COCINA and its third with Aarón Sánchez, who co-founded COCINA as a vehicle to authentically connect with US Hispanic fans. Other titles include EL SABOR DE AARÓN (Hogar de HGTV and Discovery Familia), a cooking competition series where two Hispanic chefs participate in challenges designed to highlight their unique take on the Latino culinary tradition; and Qatar Latino, rumbo al mundial (Discovery en Español), a limited series following eight Latinos who have rebuilt their lives in Doha, Qatar, amid the 2022 World Cup. In addition, Hogar de HGTV has featured COCINA’s short-form how-to recipes on-air and across digital platforms, inspiring Hispanics who love food to up their game and try something new.

El toque de Aarón Season 2 will be available to mobile and streaming viewers via WBD’s TV Everywhere apps. WBD’s social media platforms will also feature exclusive content including behind-the-scenes footage, character profiles and tips from the cast.
