Viacom Internacional Studios (VIS) and Claro Video announced the start of production for R, the dark comedy that will be available on Grupo Claro’s streaming platform.
Viacom International Studios (VIS) Americas and Claro Video announced the start of production for R, a new dark comedy series.
It tells the story of Franco, a man with a mediocre life, whose reality is altered by a life-threatening diagnosis he gets by mistake, causing him to transform his life into a crazy one of excess.
The cast includes Mauricio Ochmann as Franco, along with Paulina Dávila, Marco de la O, Gala Montes, Andrés Almeida and Jesús Zavala.
Directed by Mauricio Cruz (La Guzmán) and Rodrigo Ugalde (El rey del valle, El dandy), the series will be done entirely on locations in Mexico City and have 10, 45-minute episodes.
VIS will distribute it around the world, both the format and the finished version.
