TV Azteca Internacional will be the business unit in charge of distribution within the US, with an offer of approximately 40,000 hours of content in various genres.

As of January 1, TV Azteca took exclusive distribution rights for all media, both digital and traditional, of its channels and the content owned by the company in the United States. The business unit that will represent the distribution will continue to be TV Azteca Internacional, as it already does for the rest of the world.

“The United States is a very important territory for content in Spanish, so TV Azteca resumes distribution for all media, we have a library available of approximately 40,000 hours of series, standalone titles, documentaries, telenovelas, live shows, among other genres”, commented Adrián Ortega, general director of Content for TV Azteca.

“We are excited about this great launch and what better time to announce it than within the framework of Content Americas, for TV Azteca it is important to add new allies and strengthen the ties it has built in this territory,” he added.

This year’s premieres

According to the company, 2023 is an important year for production at TV Azteca, where the second season of Lotería del Crimen, the third season of Un día para Vivir, and the launch of a new season of the iconic program Lo que callan las mujeres, which returns with current and endearing stories.

The path of co-production

“As part of this great launch for the United States, we are open to adding partners that are interested in generating co-productions with TV Azteca for our content,” said Ortega. “We bring a coupleof fictions in development that may be of interest to our allies”.

TV Azteca will be present at Content Americas, including a space within the market.
