The final episode of the successful Turkish drama became the highest-rated broadcast on Sunday night, reaching an average 10.4 rating on the Chilean network.

Child Bride ended its successful run in Chile, leading the Sunday rating race during its big finale on TVN.

The Chilean network’s Turkish series averaged a 10.4 rating between 11:41pm and 12:25am.

With these numbers, the drama surpassed Contra viento y marea (Canal 13), Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Mega) and Pasapalabra (Chilevisión).

Distributed in Latin America by Latin Media, Child Bride aired in Turkey between 2015 and 2015, becoming one of the most controversial series in the country.

It tells the story of Zehra, a smart 13-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a teacher, but is forced to marry the son of a powerful clan to settle a family debt.
