After working in companies such as Coca-Cola, Google and YouTube, Gortázar is now CEO of the new production company from Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi.

The Board of Directors of Suma Content, the recently launched independent audiovisual content producer presented by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, announced today the signing of Beltrán Gortázar as CEO of the company.

After working in companies such as Coca-Cola, Gortázar has held different positions at Google and YouTube, where he has led the premium content unit for the company and from where he has gained deep strategic experience in this sector. He has spearheaded major transformation projects in the content ecosystem on YouTube but has also been a key player in the implementation of the platform’s audiovisual strategy.

Beltrán Gortázar joins Suma Content as CEO “to lead the development of the company and materialize the great ambition that Suma Content represents,” they say from the production company.

“I am delighted to join Suma Content, especially at a time when storytelling has become one more way to break down barriers, innovate and give voice to new creators through high-quality productions,” said Gortázar.

“I am honored to contribute my experience to the growth of what is now one of the key producers in the audiovisual ecosystem, home to authentic, inspiring and close stories, developed with a vocation of global reach,” he added.

Suma Content came from the natural evolution of Suma Latina, the first content development and creation project founded by Calvo and Ambrossi, and which is the producer responsible for the acclaimed series Paquita Salas and Veneno, the film and the play La Llamada , and the Cardo series, recently presented at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Suma Content will have a global impact vocation with an intrinsic seal in all its products: quality, authenticity and commitment to diversity.
