The Speakers Corner Conference Summit hosted by TNT Sports offers attendees a series of masterclasses, keynotes, and presentations.

Sportel Rendez-Vous is all set to kick off the international sports conference and market summit, which will take place May 14-15 at the Hilton Buenos Aires in collaboration with regional event partners J&S EG, Lions Sports & Media, and ProEnter. After multiple editions in Miami, the event moves to Latin America and, for the first time, will be held in Argentina.

The Speakers Corner Conference Summit, sponsored by TNT Sports, is already a must-attend event in all Sportel markets, which each year offers attendees a series of masterclasses, keynotes, and presentations to be held throughout the two-day event.

Topics will include new trends in streaming and digital content, new developments in regional soccer, the global powerhouse of MMA, how AI is shaping the future of sports, Latam as a hub for sports production pioneers, live sports betting opportunities, and the rise of women’s sports.

With a stellar lineup of speakers and technology disruptors, Sportel is a melting pot of international cultures, spanning North, South, and Central America Europe and beyond.

The Program Begins on May 14

The first day will begin with a special opening speech and welcome by the president of the Argentine Olympic Committee, Mario Moccia. This will be followed by a panel of international speakers with representatives from Bundesliga International (Robin Austermann), NBA (Arnon de Mello), and IMG (Guillermo Santa-Cruz), and moderated by leading sports media outlet SportBusiness (Callum McCarthy).

The panel will have the keynote Latin America: The Real Land of Opportunity, which will delve into how it has long been a land of promise and untapped potential for global rights holders, media groups, and agencies, especially as growth in the European and EEUU sports rights markets begins to slow.

Next, the Professional Fighters League (James Frewin) will share his thoughts on how PFL has created a global MMA Powerhouse and reshaped the sport and its remarkable growth trajectory. Next, Harmonic, Inc. (Leonardo Rombola), the first AI nod of the program, will present the lecture AI & Targeted Ads in Sports Content: Enhancing Engagement & Revenue.

The second panel, led by SportBusiness (Callum McCarthy), will explore Reaching a New Generation: Trends in Streaming & Digital Content, with the participation of platforms and innovators, such as Fanatiz (Juan Buscaglione), Protocol Sports Marketing (Lowell Conn), Sportian (Gonzalo Luthard) and CSN-Content Creator Network (Barrick Prince), who will illustrate how the growth of digital-only companies is shaping the future of the sports media industry.

The conference will follow the lunch break AI Shaping the Future of Sports: A New Era of Creativity & Innovation, with a stellar lineup of experts, WSC Sports (Felipe Cabrera), Supponor (Massimo Magri) and Stats Perform (Ignacio Iturraspe), moderated in collaboration with Sports Value (Amir Somoggi).

Start-up BIZID (Facundo Pardo) will present the BRS—Behavioral Recognition System, an innovative platform for psychological and sociological analysis in the sports industry.

Next, global rights management and marketing company 1190 Sports will host a panel (Hernan Donnari, Julio Gianella) plus special guest Club Sporting Cristal (Joel Raffo) on The Collaborative Model Changing the Landscape of Peruvian Football.

The final Masterclass of the day Pioneers of Production for Major Sporting Events from MediaPro (José D’Amato), joined by Panam Sports (Michael Muller), who, as hosts of broadcast and production teams, will share from some of the region’s major sporting events, including the Pan American and Parapan American Games, the South American Cup, the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA World Cup.

As a spectacular finale to the day’s sessions and a firm Sportel favorite, Javier Tebas, the legendary President of LALIGA, will deliver a keynote speech and an interview on the latest LALIGA news.

The Schedule for May 15

To kick off the second day, the spotlight will be on the Masterclass New Markets for In-Play Sports Betting—Opportunities & Challenges, which will address the escalation of sports betting in the US and show how LATAM offers an attractive market, albeit with regulators still cautious in some areas.

He is followed by Telemétrico (Adrien Puente), who presents on Fox Sports Argentina and specializes in Formula 1, analyzing its invisible aspects. Next, TNT Sports (Gustavo Minaker) will share his views on this world leader in premium content broadcasting.

Moving on to ticketing, Imply (Tironi Paz Ortiz) and ElevenTickets (Cesar Sbrighi) will share how they are Sharing the Future Experiences in Sports and fan engagement. FanXp (Ariel Servetti) will present Modernization & Monetization of Stadiums with Betting Companies.

The last Masterclass of the day will end on an explosive note. In partnership with TNT Sports and accompanied by The Women’s Cup, CEO (John P Reynal) with more speakers to be announced.

The Boom in Women’s Sports: From Viewership to Commercial Properties will explore how men and women, along with established organizations, are investing in women’s sports regionally and globally and how it is developing in a huge and culturally diverse region.
