Spanish hits from Netflix, ATRESPlayer and Movistar+ stand out in Parrot Analytics’ rankings of the most popular series in the country. Disney+, meanwhile, leads both lists.

A resounding success both on broadcast TV and streaming, it is not surprising that Veneno, the original Atresmedia series, is one of the most demanded in Spain.

In the week of November 9 to 15, the series ranked third in Parrot Analytics’ ranking of the most demanded digital series in the country, registering 21.1 times more demand than the average series.

Veneno is not the only local production to make its way into the ranking, where Movistar+’s Resistencia appears in fifth place with 19.7 times more demand, while Netflix’s Money Heist took seventh place with 18, 6 times more demand.

In addition, Colombian series Narcos completes the Hispanic appearances in the ranking in tenth place with 15.6 times more demand.

The digital ranking -like the general one- is led by the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, by Disney+ (38.8x), followed by Netflix’s Stranger Things in second place (26.9x).

Netflix’s The Boys (fourth, 21.1x) and The Umbrella Academy (sixth, 19.3x); Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale (8th, 15.8x) and HBO Max’s Raised by Wolves (9th, 15.7x) round out the digital ranking.

Spanish productions also found their place in the general ranking of most demanded series in Spain, where the Telecinco comedy, La que se avecina, came in seventh place with 22.7 times more demand.

Patria by HBO Spain follows in eighth place with 22.6 times more demand, while Veneno is also on this list, this time, in last place.

The Mandalorian and Stranger Things repeat their positions and also lead the general ranking, while The Walking Dead closes the podium (25.9x).

Grey’s Anatomy (fourth place, 25.5x), Game of Thrones (fifth, 24.4x), Outlander (sixth, 22.7x) and Vikings (ninth, 21.4x) complete the overall ranking.
