The call opened on October 6 and will remain open through November 30. The official selection will be released in mid-February 2027.
Series Mania Forum announced it opened its call for projects for the 2027 Co-Pro Pitching Sessions.
The Co-Pro Pitching Sessions are Series Mania Forum’s founding premise and the most anticipated part of the Forum. TV series such as The Airport Chaplain (Australia), Off Season (France, Switzerland), Blackport (Iceland), The Last Socialist Artefact (Slovenia, Finland), We Got This (Sweden), Ever After (Italy), No Man’s Land (France), Freud (Germany) or The Head (Spain) were introduced for the very first time during the Co-Pro Pitching Sessions.
Each year, up to 15 series projects seeking international financing are selected and their producers are invited to come to Lille to pitch their series to an audience of key industry decision-makers (producers, broadcasters, financiers, etc.).
For the 2026 edition, the event received more than 400 eligible submissions from 65 countries.
A prize of 50,000 euros is given to the best project chosen by a professional jury.
The pitching sessions are followed by individual meetings with broadcasters, distributors, producers, public and private funds.
The pitch is open to any producer or distributor with a drama series seeking international financing and co-production partners. The same company can submit up to 2 projects. Projects must be for a live action fiction series. The format of the series must be a minimum of three episodes. The length of each episode must be a minimum of 26 minutes. Projects selected for another market or festival will not be eligible.
The call will remain open through November 30. The official selection will be released in mid-February 2027.
