Secuoya Studios and Caracol TV announced this Monday an alliance to co-develop, co-produce and co-finance fiction projects over the next year.

The agreement is based on the concept of the joint work of the teams of both companies with the aim of creating, conceptualizing and developing premium series in Spanish.

The agreement also has the goal of giving visibility to original Spanish and Latin American stories.

Secuoya Studios and Caracol TV will co-own 50% of the intellectual property of the audiovisual work, will hold the distribution rights in their own territories and will jointly negotiate the international windows of the chosen productions.

A committee made up of Colombian and Spanish creatives will be in charge of analyzing the projects from a global perspective. Those selected will go on to a second phase of conceptualization and development of a pilot episode. Once the best stories have been chosen, Secuoya Studios and Caracol TV undertake to launch the different phases of production.
