The Dutch media group announced a new deal under which the French group will sell and produce all of its formats in the country.

John de Mol’s Talpa and Arthur Essebag’s Satisfaction Group entered into a joint venture targeting the French market.

The venture gives Satisfaction exclusive rights to sell and produce all Talpa formats, such as Marble Mania (first broadcast on TF1, Friday 25th June, was off to a good start and solid numbers), Avastars, Hunting Season, A quiz for you, Hit the road, Kids buy a house and more.

Talpa has been exploring the international media industry looking for solid partners to work together in various territories. Earlier Talpa already announced an exclusive partnership with Dok1 Media in Belgium. Both John de Mol and Arthur Essebag worked together in the past and are delighted to work together again.

Arthur Essebag said: “Talpa is constantly developing up-to-date and innovative formats in many different genres attracting vast audiences. Together we expect to bring these formats successfully to the French market. I have a lot of admiration for John’s appetite for developing formats and I’m incredibly excited to collaborate with him again on this new partnership.”

John de Mol added: “It has always been a pleasure to work with a professional like Arthur, he is the best partner in France to join. I am confident that the expertise they have in the French market will help us grow internationally. I’m delighted to be joining up with his team.”
