ITV Studio’s format, The Voice Generations, will be adapted in Portugal for RTP 1.

Following successful launches in Lithuania and Australia, heart-warming talent show spin-off The Voice Generations is heading to a brand-new territory as RTP 1 in Portugal commissioned a local adaptation.

The series contains 2 episodes of 2 hour shows produced by Shine Iberia with the auditions last Sunday August 7 and the live show this Sunday August 14.

The Voice Generations invites groups of talented singers and musicians from different generations to perform together on The Voice stage. The most talented families, friends, colleagues and teammates will all vie for glory – but which group will have what it takes to win The Voice Generations?

The Voice and its spin-offs continue to prove very popular around the world. In Argentina, the fourth season of The Voice kicked off with a huge market share of 70% for its first episode on Telefe. And in Australia, the 11th season of The Voice made its debut earlier this year on the Seven Network with both The Voice Australia and The Voice Generations in the Networks top 10 biggest shows for 2022 so far.
