ViacomCBS’ AVOD platform was officially launched this Monday, October 26 in Spain.

From this Monday, October 26, Pluto TV, ViacomCBS Networks International’s free advertising streaming service without registration, is available in Spain through www.pluto.tv, Apple TV, Android TV and mobile devices, both Android and iOS .

Starting this Wednesday, it will also be available on Samsung TV Plus (with a selection of channels), and from Monday, November 2, on Amazon Fire TV.

The platform offers 40 exclusive niche channels and programming adapted to the Spanish market.

Thus, it has film channels of various genres such as Pluto TV Romantic Cinema or Pluto TV Cine Thrillers, and successful Spanish TV series with the humor channel Vaya Semanita, and international ones with the sci-fi channel of Andromeda.

In addition to a wide variety of children’s content (¡Pistas de Blue y tú !, Go Diego Go), realities from the MTV brand, sports with Pluto TV Action Sports or gaming with the IGN channel, among many others.

At its launch, the service presents 40 exclusive and themed channels, to which new ones will be added monthly, reaching 50 by the end of 2020 and a total of 100 by the end of 2021.

Among the titles already available are contents such as Los mercenarios, Dreamgirls or [REC]; and series channels such as those dedicated to nostalgic content, with great Spanish hits such as Ana y los 7, Vaya semanita or Curro Jiménez, as well as well-known international series channels such as Andrómeda (from the creator of Star Trek) or Midsommer’s murders.

For kids there’s the Pluto TV Kids and Pluto TV Junior channels, with titles such as Harvey Beaks and Sanjay y Craig. Also thanks to those channels dedicated exclusively to preschool kids, there’s series like Go Diego Go and Blue’s Clues, and teen sitcoms like Big Time Rush.

In terms of entertainment, it has original content from the MTV brand, from Catfish, with its own channel, to MTV Tuning or Jackass.

There is also a place for sports and gaming lovers, with the IGN or Pluto TV Action Sports channels, among others, for those in the kitchen, who can enjoy the Pluto TV Kitchen channel, with the Jamie Oliver program: 5 ingredients, the renowned English chef, among other content; and for fans of Spanish humor, who, thanks to the Comedia Made in Spain channel, will be able to once again enjoy programs such as Central de Cómico or Smonka, both of which are Comedy Central’s own productions.

In addition to the permanent channels, Pluto TV offers Pop Up channels for a limited time, and at its launch the little ones will be able to enjoy Pluto TV Kids Halloween, with the best Halloween episodes of their favorite children’s series.
