The deals cover 250 hours of programming and include titles such as All New Traffic Cops, Inside the Police Force and Call the Bailiffs.
UK-based distributor Passion Distribution has announced a new round of international sales for several titles from its factual catalogue focused on law enforcement, emergency services and rescue operations, a genre that continues to enjoy strong demand among broadcasters and streaming platforms across multiple markets.
The latest agreements cover approximately 250 hours of programming and include sales of titles such as All New Traffic Cops, Inside the Police Force, Call the Bailiffs, Fare Dodgers: At War With The Law, Special Ops: Crime Squad UK and Car Pound Cops.
Among the key deals, All New Traffic Cops (182×60′) has been acquired by BBC Studios for Australia and by Discovery Communications for the Netherlands. In addition, Bravo TV New Zealand licensed ten seasons of the series, while DPG Media in Flanders and Foxtel in Australia picked up two seasons each.
Meanwhile, Netflix acquired one season of Inside the Police Force (23×60′) for the UK and Ireland. Produced by Mentorn Media, the series follows the daily work of one of Lincolnshire’s busiest police stations. The title has also been licensed to TV2 Denmark and RTL Netherlands.
Another notable agreement involves Call the Bailiffs (24×60′), the documentary series following enforcement agents carrying out court orders, which has been acquired by BBC Studios for Australia and by Discovery for several German-speaking territories across Europe. DPG Media has also picked up the series for Flanders.
In addition, Fare Dodgers: At War With The Law (14×60′), which follows ticket inspectors and undercover officers working across London’s transport network, will continue its international rollout through new sales to DPG Media and Discovery in various European territories.
The distributor has also secured deals for Special Ops: Crime Squad UK (24×60′), acquired by BBC Studios for Australia, and Car Pound Cops (30×60′), which will air in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands through Discovery Communications.
“Police series and programmes focused on high-pressure professions continue to be a strong performer in prime time schedules,” said Nick Tanner, Sales Director at Passion Distribution. “With their compelling real-life stories and extensive episode counts, they remain highly effective at attracting audiences.”
