The company has named Matthieu Thollin as Managing Director, Operations of Mediawan International, and Dominik Schmelck as Managing Director of Mediawan France Scripted.

Mediawan has announced a series of senior executive appointments designed to support its continued international expansion and strengthen its scripted production business in France, while also marking a leadership transition within its Spanish operations.

The company has appointed Matthieu Thollin as Managing Director, Operations of Mediawan International. In his new role, Thollin will oversee operational coordination across the group’s international activities, with a focus on improving efficiency and supporting collaboration throughout Mediawan’s global production network.

At the same time, Dominik Schmelck has been named Managing Director of Mediawan France Scripted. He will be responsible for leading the company’s scripted production business in France, overseeing the development and production of television series and feature films as Mediawan continues to expand its premium content slate.

The announcement also confirmed that Monica Galer, who has led Mediawan’s operations in Spain, will leave the company after helping establish and develop the group’s presence in the Spanish market. Mediawan thanked Galer for her contribution to the company’s growth and the expansion of its local production activities.

According to the company, these leadership changes are intended to reinforce Mediawan’s management structure and position the group for its next phase of growth across key European and international markets.
