The Turkish distributor is participating in Mipcom Online+ with a slate of five new Turkish dramas: A Woman Scorned, Abandoned, Flames of Fate, Love Is in the Air and The Agency.

Madd Entertainment, the international distributor of Turkish dramas, is pleased to present five new hit series in time for Mipcom Online+, the international content event of the season.

Leading Madd’s Fall slate is A Woman Scorned, the Medyapim series which achieved a 24% share for Kanal D in its Wednesday night debut. Adapted from the award-winning series Doctor Foster and featuring acclaimed actress Cansu Dere, the lead of Mother, this drama is the most anticipated new series coming out of Turkey this season.

In this drama, Ms. Dere gives a gripping married woman story who catches her husband, played by Caner Cindoruk (Woman), in an affair and goes to extraordinary lengths to protect herself and her family.

Next up is Abandoned, produced by MF Yapim and Medyapim and will be airing on Fox, Turkey’s top-rated network. After the phenomenal success of Mother and My Little Girl, child star Beren Gökyıldız became the top international star of Turkish drama.

This series features Gökyıldız as a precocious orphan living a hard life in a small foundling home. She and her fellow orphans, discarded by their own families, come together to make their own in a heartwarming story with something for everyone. The series has received enormous attention from buyers all around the globe since pre-production began, and we are sure it will be an international success.

One of the most powerful titles of the Fall is Ay Yapim’s exciting televsion event Flames Of Fate, coming late October to Show TV. Based on the original story of director Alexandre Laurent’s La Bazar de Charite, the series brings together Demet Evgar (Avlu), Dilan Çiçek Deniz (The Pit), and Hazar Ergüçlü (Kuzey Güney) as three women whose fates are forever changed after surviving a deadly cistern fire.

Ay Yapim’s modern-day version will take up its themes of love and loss in a contemporary setting. The series is another powerful new drama of the season.

The hit series Love Is In The Air, from MF Yapim and Medyapim, premiered on Fox this summer. The romantic drama has dominated Wednesday nights ever since, with top ratings across all demographic groups — including an average %18 share in the coveted +20ABC1 segment. The series brings together an unlikely pair who initially hate each other but must pretend to be a couple. This drama is a perfect love story.

Remarkably, Love Is In The Air is a trending topic on social media every Wednesday night in countries where it is not yet broadcast, including Chile, Argentina, Italy, Spain and Brazil. This breakout success has already led two networks to pick up the series, where it now airs across the MENA region simultaneously. Many broadcasters have already lined up to carry the drama in Europe, CIS, the Baltics and Latin America.

Rounding out Madd’s Fall slate is The Agency, Ay Yapim’s behind-the-scenes drama about a top talent agency serving Turkey’s biggest stars. Based on the international hit series Call My Agent from France, The Agency premiered just over a month ago on Star TV.

Each episode features cameos from real-life celebrity actors like Tuba Buyukustun (Brave & Beautiful), Nebahat Çehre (Forbidden Love), Çağatay Ulusoy (Girl Named Feriha, Medcezir), Gökçe Bahadir (Stiletto Vendetta), Burçin Terzioğlu (For My Son) who supplement an all-star ensemble cast of agents, rising stars, and wannabe celebrities in the dog-eat-dog of Turkish drama.
