The M6 network acquired the adaptation rights to the Endemol Shine Group format (already part of Banijay), which is thus adding its eighth international territory.

The Lego Masters format, now distributed by Banijay Rights after the purchase of the Endemol Shine Group, will arrive in France soon after the acquisition of its adaptation rights by the M6 network.

France thus becomes the eighth international territory for the format, which begins to position itself as one of the most successful of the season.

Born on Channel 4 in the UK, the format had already been acquired in the US, Australia, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden.

In France, they detailed, the production will be in charge of Endemol Shine France.

Lego Masters was created by Tuesday’s Child Productions and The LEGO Group and presents a competition for the classic Lego game that combines creativity, design, skill as well as humor, action and drama.

“The format is generating a lot of noise internationally and we are fully confident that the show will be very popular here in France,” said Nicolas Coppermann, CEO of Endemol Shine France.

“Lego Masters has proven its success in multiple territories and we are incredibly proud of this show. The ‘feel-good’ and optimistic formats are ideal for appealing to family audiences and broadcasters around the world. We are happy to see that M6 has ordered a version, “added James Townley, Global Head of Creative Networks of Endemol Shine.
