The platform will cease its operations on June 30.

LaLiga officially announced that it will shut down its streaming platform, LaLiga+.

“After almost 10 years of boosting the visibility of the sport and creating an unparalleled community, LaLiga+ will cease broadcasting on June 30,” they announced.

The group explained that the closure was partly due to “the evolution of the audiovisual market and changes in consumption habits,” which “have created a new context in which the OTT platform has fulfilled its cycle and purpose within LaLiga’s audiovisual strategy.”

“This decision reflects a forward-looking strategic vision, whose objective is to continue connecting with audiences wherever they are,” they added.

The group explained that the platform will cease broadcasting on June 30 at midnight and will no longer be available to users after that date. They also clarified that June will be free for current subscribers.

“We leave proud of the journey we’ve taken. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!”
