Former Paramount Sales and Co-production exec to lead sales activity in Latin America and Hispanic-speaking regions for the global content producer and distributor.

Keshet International (KI) has made two key hires to boost the distribution arm of its business ahead of Mipcom 2023, appointing international sales and co-production executive Elena Antonini to the role of Vice President of Sales and sales executive Adi Brukner to the position of Sales Manager.

Based in Buenos Aires, Antonini is taking on responsibility for leading KI’s sales of formats, scripted and unscripted finished tape across Latin America, the Hispanic-speaking networks in the US, as well as Spain and Portugal. A seasoned sales executive specializing in the content distribution and co-production business with over 15 years of experience, Antonini joins KI as Vice President of Sales (Iberia and Latam) following a five-year tenure at Paramount (formerly ViacomCBS), where she most recently held the position of Director Content Sales & Co-Productions, and prior to that, she spent 10 years with Dori Media. Reporting to KI’s MD of Distribution Kelly Wright, Elena officially started working with the global producer and distributor at the beginning of this month.

KI’s Kelly Wright comments: “With her experience in both distribution and co-production in Latin America, we are so pleased that Elena has joined the KI Sales team, alongside Adi. Elena’s extensive network and know-how will prove invaluable to growing our distribution, development and production business in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets. With MIPCOM 2023 just around the corner, now is the perfect time to be boosting our Sales team as we take our biggest delegation to market since 2019 to support our exciting new slate of dramas and factual content.”

Elena Antonini adds: “I’m thrilled to be joining Keshet International as the company continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the international content business, bolstered by quality IP from Keshet 12 in Israel, its production arms in the US, UK and Germany, and third-party partners around the world. I can’t wait to immerse myself in their incredible catalogue and get to work alongside the rest of the talented Sales team!”

KI’s second new addition to the Sales team is Adi Brukner, who joins KI as Sales Manager (Asia, Africa, and SE Europe), having spent two years at Armoza Formats as a sales executive. Based in Israel, Brukner takes on responsibility for sales of KI’s formats, scripted and unscripted finished tape across Asia, Africa, and SE Europe (Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Israel) and will also report to Kelly Wright.

With a well-located stand in Riviera 7 (R7:K22), KI is returning to Cannes with its biggest delegation since 2019 and a slate brimming with fresh new content to match. New titles for MIPCOM 2023 include Shenhar Productions’ high-stakes psychological thriller Trust No One (Keshet 12), which was recently selected in competition at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival; Crackit Productions’ Save Our Sperm (Channel 4); and Flicker Productions’ one-off documentaries Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family (ITV1) and Wayne Couzens: Hidden in Plain Sight (Channel 5); alongside more new acquisitions to be announced on the run-up to MIPCOM 2023.
