RTVE is once again present at LA Screenings Independents, with a catalog featuring some of the most important titles on Spanish TV, including Los argonautas, Hit, La caza. Guadiana and El asesino de la baraja, among others.
One of the main new ones is Los argonautas: “It is a very good series, for families and a target audience for children, up to 14 years of age, which calls for an important appreciation of the great values of society such as friendship, cooperation, diversity” , said Javier Quevedo, head of International Commercial Strategy at RTVE, in dialogue with ttvnews. “All seen from the world of a group of 12-year-old boys who live a series of adventures.”
“We are also presenting the third season of La caza. Guadiana. It is a new thriller in which a murder is going to be solved, with the same police investigation group,” he added. “And we have the third season of Hit, which is one of our strongest assets.”
“We also have a new production called Cuatro Estrellas, which we are currently broadcasting on our main channel,” said the executive. “It is a series for primetime access that lasts about 30 to 45 minutes, mixing comedy with drama, with investigative touches.”
To complement these series, RTVE is also presenting other titles, such as the docuseries El asesino de la baraja, a true crime that was recently awarded Best True Crime Series at the Hamburg Festival in Germany.
Other documentaries, such as 10.000 días, make up a complete catalog of attractive titles, which continues to grow: “We are in the pre-production and production phase of some series such as Barrio inglés or Esto no es Suecia. In some cases we are already filming,” Quevedo explained.
