From January to date, the brand added more than 770,000 new users, bringing the total to two million subscribers.
The History channel announced this Thursday that the official History Latin America YouTube account exceeded two million subscribers in April, adding 770,000 new subscribers from January to date.
The channel, in fact, doubled its number of subscribers in a few months after receiving the plaque for the first million.
In total, History has more than 3,800 videos on YouTube and offers the best content from the channel’s programs such as The Price of History, Ancient Aliens, Treasure Hunters, Challenge on Fire and some of the most successful documentaries.
In addition, through the YouTube channel, followers can access teasers and exclusive content.
“We are very proud of this achievement, day by day we generate content adapted to the language of each of our digital platforms and we deepen the knowledge of our audience to bring them the best experience and the topics that interest them most,” said María Victoria Monroig, director Development and Product Innovation for Digital Platforms of A+E Networks Latin America.
History Latin America, in addition, has its OTT platform History Play, where users can enjoy content how, where and when they want: complete programs, realities and the documentaries of History and History 2 that combine history, knowledge and entertainment.
