The format will seek to create the first K-pop boy band in Latin America.

HBO Max, CJ ENM and Endemol Shine Boomdog announced this week that they are currently working on developing a talent show to create the first K-pop boy band in Latin America.

The format thus seeks to bring together the most important K-Pop artists and Latin American stars to select a group of future artists and take them to the other side of the world to train them under a secret K-Pop idol production system.

Throughout the musical competition, contestants will be challenged not only to assess their individual abilities, but also to help them come together as a truly diverse boy band ready to debut on world stages.

“A group of young people from Latin America will participate in an audition to have the opportunity of their life: to fly to Korea and train under the K-Pop star creation system, and thus launch the first Latin American K-Pop musical band”, they said.

As detailed, Richard Jun will be the executive producer of the series along with Alejandro Rincón and Álvaro Godoy on the part of Endemol Shine Boomdog and Harry HK Shin, Young Ju Ok and Jake Hong on the part of CJ ENM.
