The drama Innocence tells the story of Ela and her lover the tycoon Ilker, who is arrested after she is attacked, shortly before his wedding to girlfriend Irem in this tense, emotional rollercoaster. Having failed to halt Ela’s relationship with Ilker, her mother is drawn into a bitter war with Ilker’s mother, fueled by jealous rivalry. Under the spell of Ilker’s selfish manipulations, Ela and Irem dramatically end up defending him in court as he undermines Ela’s story. She thus becomes the victim again, attacked by a social media lynch mob, and in the electrifying battle which ensues, only her mother can help Ela overcome the forces aligned against her.
