The partnership will bring ACAM’s audience measurement data, covering 78% of Mexico’s urban population, into Glance’s market intelligence platform.
Glance, a provider of TV and video market intelligence, has announced a new partnership with the Alianza para la Calidad de la Medición Multimedia en México (ACAM), Mexico’s official TV audience measurement body.
The agreement will incorporate ACAM’s audience data into Glance’s TV and video audience analysis, expanding its coverage of the linear TV market and giving international clients greater access to insights into viewing behavior in Mexico.
Established following the best practices of leading Joint Industry Committees (JICs) worldwide, ACAM is the first JIC created in Latin America. The organization provides reliable, transparent and innovative multiplatform audience measurement in Mexico.
ACAM’s current measurement covers 78% of Mexico’s urban population through a panel of 2,000 households. The organization is currently expanding the panel to 3,500 households and 7,200 individuals, further increasing the scope of its linear TV audience measurement.
“Glance has unrivalled expertise in bringing local TV data to a global audience, and we are pleased to be working with them. We look forward to growing our international presence together; it is a great opportunity for both organisations,” said Salma Esteban, Head of Business & Operations at ACAM.
Frédéric Vaulpré, Senior Vice President at Glance, highlighted the relevance of the Mexican market and the opportunity to incorporate its viewing trends into a broader international analysis.
“Mexico is a fascinating TV market, where local productions remain prevalent and popularity is growing fast for international content, from Korean dramas to Spanish series. This partnership gives our clients the tools to deep dive into the nuances of another strong TV market, while understanding the wider global trends,” he said.
The partnership comes after a period of transformation for Glance, which has implemented significant advances in its offering, deliverables and production methods over the past 12 months, with further developments planned for the remainder of 2026.
