The 2022 awards are open for entries from June 27 and will close on September 19. This year’s ceremony will take place as a both a digital and live event on Monday, November 28.

The 61st edition of the prestigious Rose d’Or, the international television awards, has opened for entries.

The Rose d’Or has been celebrating the very best in international television and audio programme-making since the 1961.

In 2021, despite the challenges of the pandemic, the awards received over 750 entries from more than 30 countries and now Europe’s premier TV awards are gearing up for our 61st year.

The 2022 awards are open for entries from June 27 and will close on September 19. To enter this years awards, click here.

For the first time, the organization will publish the shortlist of shows that are selected before the final round of judging. This means that up to 25 shows in each category will be celebrated in a news release and highlighted across social media in the months leading up to the ceremony.

Chair of the Rose d’Or Awards, Mark Rowland said: “We review so many wonderful shows from all over the world – we want to celebrate more of them en route to the final by publishing this shortlist, offering additional opportunities for entrants to receive international recognition.”

The categories for 2022 are News & Current Affairs, Documentary, Drama, Comedy, Comedy Drama and Sitcom, Reality and Factual Entertainment, Soap and Telenovela, Children and Youth, Arts, Audio Entertainment, Multiplatform Series and Studio Entertainment. In addition to the special individual awards of Lifetime Achievement, Performance of the Year and Emerging Talent – won in 2021 by Brenda Blethyn, Omar Sy and Nida Manzoor.

All programmes and series that have first aired, anywhere in the world, on a broadcast, streaming, online or mobile platform over the 15 months between July 12, 2021 and September 19, 2022 are eligible.

This year the Rose d’Or Award ceremony will take place as a both a digital and live event on Monday November 28, combining a celebration at King’s Place in London with a simultaneous global live stream.
