The VP of International Content of the American company was present at Cannes with a wide range of series, movies and native digital content for Free TV, Pay TV, SVOD and Fast Channels.

In January of this year, Emilia Nuccio, formerly of Eccho Bridge, joined Filmrise as VP of International Content, an American content production and distribution company specializing in FAST Channels.

In this sense, Filmrise is participating for the first time in Mipcom Cannes 2022, an event that will take place from October 17 to 20 at the Palais des Festivales in Cannes, with the mission statement of “opening doors in the international market”.

“Filmrise was founded about ten years ago as a pioneer in FAST Channels. Our content works. We have about 5,000 videos, mainly with digital rights, but we also have a lot of rights for Free TV and so on,” Nuccio summarized to ttvnews

The US company has 41 FAST Channels on more than 15 platforms in the US and Canada, more than seventeen throughout Western Europe and six in Latin America.

“We are pioneers of this new trend where the market is headed,” she stressed.

“We see that audiences are going there and great growth is going to come from there. And we at Filmrise are ready and waiting to see where our content will go,” she added.

In addition to the FAST Channels business, Filmrise’s content distribution is focused on series, movies and native digital content.

“Talking about nostalgic classic series we have, for example, Highway to Heaven for Latin America, among many other series and movies from the catalog of what was Eccho Bridge and that I used to manage,” explained the executive. “We have a lot of action, drama, and romance movies too,” she added.
