Electric Entertainment and MOD will launch a fan licensing campaign inviting artists and fans to create original artwork inspired by the entire Librarians universe.

Electric Entertainment, the independent studio behind the beloved Librarians franchise, has entered into a licensing agreement with MOD Fan Official, the company redefining how entertainment brands activate their fandoms through officially licensed fan-created merchandise.

Electric Entertainment and MOD will launch a fan licensing campaign inviting artists and fans to create original artwork inspired by the entire Librarians universe, including the original hit TNT series, The Librarians, as well as the new series The Librarians: The Next Chapter, also on TNT. Selected works will have the opportunity become part of a limited-edition, officially licensed fan art merch collection scheduled to be released in the summer of 2026.

This initiative reflects a new way in which studios and IP owners can collaborate with their fan communities to create meaningful, revenue-driving licensing executions that feel authentic to the audience.

Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment comments, “The driving force behind the success and ongoing demand for The Librarians franchise has always been its passionate fanbase. Every time we expand the world and its storylines, the fans ask for more. By partnering with MOD to honor their enthusiasm, we’re inviting them to help shape some of the very first Librarians: The Next Chapter merchandise.”

The multi-tiered promotion includes the creation of a Librarians Fan Asset Hub. Through each campaign, MOD will accumulate a growing library of fan-created assets. The fan art will have the chance to be selected to become officially-licensed by MOD for consumer products, retail opportunities, and licensee collaborations.

“This is more than a campaign,” said Joseph Pinho, Founder and CEO of MOD Fan Official “It’s a sustainable and scalable model for how studios can grow their brands by tapping into their most passionate creators.”

The first campaign will launch in July 2026. With this partnership, MOD is establishing a new blueprint for how entertainment brands can co-create with their audiences.

At the center of the partnership is MOD’s fan-licensing infrastructure, built specifically to help entertainment brands and IP holders streamline, automate, and scale fan-driven campaigns. MOD’s system handles submission intake, AI/human authenticity checks, rights management, approvals, licensing agreements, artist payouts, and productization — giving studios a turnkey way to run campaigns without the operational burden.

For creators, MOD ensures fair licensing, transparent royalty payouts, and visibility across the brand’s channels — allowing fans to become official contributors to the IP they love.
