The new young adult drama by the NENT Group platform will premiere in 2021.
Echo Rights announced that it will represent Threesome internationally, the highly anticipated original series from Viaplay, the NENT Group streaming platform, which will premiere in 2021.
Co-produced by Nordisk Film & TV and Yellowbird, it is a young adult romantic story about a Swedish couple living in London. It is written and directed by Swedish actress Lisa Linnertorp (The Bridge, Sthlm Reqviem).
Threesome is an international production with a cast of young talents from Sweden, the UK and France.
“Young adult drama is an exciting growth area right now, and this raw and truly romantic story, with an international perspective, is perfectly in tune with the needs and desires of the market,” said Nicola Söderlund, Managing Partner of Eccho Rights .
In Threesome, David (Simon Lööf) and Siri (Matilda Källström) move to London after finishing high school, deeply in love and ready to settle down and start a life together. But during a night out, they meet Camille (Alma Jodorowsky), a French art student, and at an after-party, a racy game breaks out that grows more and more daring. At first it seems exciting and harmless to all three of them, but none of them can predict the consequences of their drunken flirtations.
The series has 8 30-minute episodes, and is produced by Helena Larand (Solsidan, Ture Sventon).
