Golden Boy, Chrysalis, My Home My Destiny, and Ömer, will air dubbed into Spanish for Pasiones’ audience.
International distributor Eccho Rights has licensed a package of four hit Turkish dramas from leading producer OGM Pictures to Pasiones, the leading Spanish-language network for global telenovelas, bringing a slate of proven ratings winners to audiences across the United States.
The agreement sees Pasiones acquire Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını), Chrysalis (Camdaki Kız), My Home My Destiny (Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir) and Ömer, four of the most successful titles from one of Türkiye’s most prolific drama producers. All four will air dubbed into Spanish for Pasiones’ audience.
Barbora Suster, Head of Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights, said: “These are four titles of real quality – emotionally rich, beautifully made and built on the kind of storytelling that keeps audiences hooked night after night. We’re delighted these series will now find new fans across the US.”
The titles
Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını, produced by OGM Pictures for Star TV) — a ratings phenomenon following a reckless young heir whose life is upended by an arranged marriage, and a breakout hit that has since travelled to more than 130 territories worldwide.
Chrysalis (Camdaki Kız, OGM Pictures for Kanal D) — the story of Nalan, a young woman determined to find happiness and love against every obstacle. The series held the number-one spot in Turkish ratings for over a year and won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Drama.
My Home My Destiny (Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir, OGM Pictures for TV8) — a modern drama built around identity, belonging and love, starring Demet Özdemir and İbrahim Çelikkol, which has sold to more than 90 countries.
Ömer (OGM Pictures for Star TV) — an emotionally charged love story set within a close-knit, conservative community, following the sensitive, artistic Ömer and the impossible romance that upends his world. The series was a standout ratings success on its domestic run.
