The Turkish drama produced by Ay Yapim will premiere on Mediaset’s Canale 5.
International distributor Eccho Rights has completed a deal with Mediaset to bring hit Turkish Drama Brave and Beautiful to Italy.
The series, produced by Ay Yapim, will air on Mediaset’s Canale 5, the leading commercial broadcaster in Italy.
“We have seen a renewed and growing interest in Turkish Drama in Italy in the past 12 months, and following the success that Turkish series have enjoyed in Spain during the past two years, we see Italy as the next Western European market that will really embrace these titles,” says Nicola Söderlund, Managing Partner at Eccho Rights.
During the summer of 2020, Eccho’s Sisterhood – produced by Sürec Film – aired in prime time on Canale 5 scoring high praise and top ratings.
Brave and Beautiful is one of the most successful Turkish Drama series of all time, selling to more than 100 territories globally since its launch in 2016.
Starring the two biggest names in Turkish Drama, Kivanc Tatlitug and Tuba Büyüküstün, onscreen together for the first time, the romantic drama caused a huge stir upon release and continues to find new fans worldwide.
