Alessandra Dematteis has joined DeAPlaneta as Head of Media Sales of Italy’s Kids & Family division. She will also oversee operations in Greece, Turkey, and Asia.
DeAPlaneta Entertainment announces the addition of Alessandra Dematteis, who has been appointed as Head of Media Sales for the Kids & Family division in Italy, as part of a move to strengthen the Kids & Family division, drawing on her extensive experience in the production and distribution of children’s and family content.
Dematteis has had a career working for the Italian entertainment company Atlantyca. Atlantyca, which has offices in Italy and Beijing, is the producer of series such as Geronimo Stilton, Bat Pat and Berry Bees, among many others.
Carlos Biern, Director of Distribution and Content at DeAPlaneta Kids & Family, commented about this addition that Alessandra is a highly talented young professional in the field of children’s and family entertainment. “Her long experience in animation and family content in Italy and also abroad will be of invaluable help in consolidating DeAPlaneta Kids & Family’s international position.”
For her part, Alessandra Dematteis said she looks forward to bringing her experience to identify opportunities for content. “While expanding already successful brands such as Milo as well as future successes such as Monster Shaker and Magic Lilly.”
