Fresh from its V Showcase, where RTVE brought together some 300 professionals from 30 countries to show its great programming news, the Spanish giant was now present at LA Screenings to continue expanding the international footprint of its catalog.

“We come from our Showcase in Madrid last week, where we presented several new titles,” David Priego, respomsible for New International Projects of the Commercial Area at RTVE, began in dialogue with ttvnews.

“Here we are presenting La ley del mar, Detective Touré, and series and telenovelas that work very well like La moderna,” highlighted the executive.

In terms of new series for the international market, last week RTVE presented major series , such as Cicatriz, Las abogadas and Asuntos internos. “They look very good,” said the executive. “We really want our clients to see them.”

Created by Plano a Plano, produced by Cicatriz A.I.E. and Dopamine, in association with RTVE, Prime Video in Spain, Telekom Srbija, Canal+ Poland and CLT UFA S.A. Hungarian Broadcasting Division, with the collaboration of Asacha Media Group and Adrenalin, Cicatriz is the television adaptation of the best seller by Juan Gómez-Jurado, with scripts by Pablo Roa and Fernando Sancristóbal.

Meanwhile, Asuntos internos, a co-production of RTVE, Mediacrest and Mediacrest El Clásico AIE, is a thriller-style drama set in a Madrid police station in the late 70s and starring one of the first female police officers in Spain, who infiltrates a plot to uncover a network of corruption.

Lastly, Las abogadas is a co-production by RTVE and MOD Producciones that addresses a time and historical events that are little covered.
