Spread over three intense days, June 27, 28 and 29, it includes practical workshops, keynotes, panel discussions and the well-known Conecta international pitching sessions.

Throughout these days, the current challenges of content financing, tax incentives and budget optimization will be analyzed, approached from various perspectives and solutions in workshop format. Under the heading Trends and Keynote format, a series of data analysis sessions will be offered, offering in detail updated references on content production and programming at a global level, focusing on content from Central, Eastern and Northern Europe, without forgetting Latin America and especially the situation in Mexico. These sessions will be offered by the international consulting firms Ampere Analysis and BB Media, as well as those responsible for the international events Serial Killer, Serializados and NEM.

In addition, there will be panels featuring major international content distribution firms. Finally, and as part of this brief preview, the program presents the Focus Countries, Mexico and Poland, which we will be able to get to know in depth thanks to the generous participation of some of the leading figures in the industry from both countries.

Integrated within the official program of activities of Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, the Spain Content Showcase will take place on June 28th and 29th at the Palacio de Congresos El Greco in Toledo. The main content distributors from Spain will host a delegation of top international buyers and programmers from Europe and America.

The showcase will be made up of several activities specially designed to give Spanish content the greatest relevance and exposure. Thus, on Wednesday, June 28, there will be a session dedicated to the most successful and original series and TV formats from Spain, while on Thursday, June 29, Spanish sales agents will present their most recent and exportable content. To complement the showcase, several exclusive networking activities are planned where international buyers, and Spanish distributors will be able to strengthen personal and commercial ties. In addition, during Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, exhibitors will be able to reserve and customize, under their brand, appropriate workspaces to hold their private meetings with the buyers.

Conecta THINK TANK. – A laboratory for the exchange of ideas that fosters first level contacts.

The fourth edition of Conecta THINK TANK will take place on Monday, June 26th in the incomparable setting of Guadamur Castle, just 20 kilometers from Toledo city. Throughout the day, participants will be able to get to know each other, exchange impressions, share data and highlight the experience of each participant on topics of great interest and relevance. The activity will take place throughout the day with a perfect mix of professional meetings and relaxed moments of networking that facilitate a perfect working environment and connection. As in previous editions, the conclusions will be made public at the end of the meeting.

Guadamur Castle is a fortress that has hosted numerous film and television shootings including titles such as the movie ‘The Mercenaries’ and series such as ‘El Cid’, ’30 coins’, ‘The Cathedral of the Sea’, ‘The Ministry of Time’, ‘The Split Crown’, ‘Isabel’ or ‘Red Eagle’ among others and is a magnificent example of the residential castles of the fifteenth century typical of the province of Toledo.
