Under the local title El juego del año, the Uruguayan adaptation of the Vivendi Entertainment format will premiere on the broadcast TV network on Monday, September 9 at 9:00pm.

Guess My Age, the entertainment format by Vivendi Entertainment, will have a new local version in Latin America with its premiere in Uruguay.

Under the title El juego del año, the format will premiere on Canal 10 next Monday, September 9 at 9:00 pm, hosted by local TV personality, Iñaki Abadie.

The show is based on guessing people’s age, taking into account only their physical appearance. In the Uruguayan version, contestants compete for a cash prize of 1,000,000 pesos (US$ 27,200).

Uruguay joins the list of countries that have acquired the format, which was one of The Wit’s “Fresh TV Formats” at Mipcom 2016.

In Latin America, Guess My Age was optioned by Turner LatAm for Chile and Argentina, while Endemol Shine Boomdog held the rights for Mexico.

In addition, the format made its way yo Spain, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Russia, Thailand and Turkey, which join the original French version, produced by Flab Prod of Vivendi Entertainment under the name Saurez-vous deviner mon âge? and broadcast by French network C8 in 2016 with great audience success.

Vivendi also signed agreements for the format with Warner Bros. International Television for Portugal and with Rochstar for Poland.
