The Turkish drama has been acquired by Mediaset Italy.

Farah, the leading Turkish drama of Calinos Entertainment’s phenomenal catalogue, has been acquired by Mediaset Italy.

Adapted from the award-winning Argentinian series La Chica Que Limpia, and produced by O3 Medya, Farah is the story of an Iranian woman, who had to run away from her country and is struggling to live in Istanbul, working as a cleaning lady in order to maintain the treatment of her son.

Farah was one of the brightest students at one of Iran’s leading medical schools, until months before she had to flee. But she and her entire family ruthlessly pay the price for a man’s failure to reciprocate her love, and Farah flees to Turkey, unaware that she is pregnant with a boy. Seven years later, this bright futured woman is forced to work as a cleaning lady in order to provide for herself and her son.

Firat Tanis, Senan Kara, Lale Basar, Feyyaz Duman, Hatice Aslan, Mustafa Avkiran, Ali Surmeli, Oktay Cubuk and Sera Kutlubey are the names accompanying to Engin Akyurek and Demet Ozdemir in Farah.
