After its broadcast TV premiere on Telecinco, the first co-production between Mediaset, Netflix and Warner Spain is premiering on the streaming platform on October 25th.

Having aired on Telecinco, Brigada Costa del Sol is premiering its full season this Friday, October 25 on Netflix.

The series was the first one to be produced by Mediaset Spain in collaboration with Netflix, as well as the first fiction creation for Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) Spain.

The series is inspired by the work of the Costa del Sol Special Group of Narcotic Drugs, a police unit that operated in southern Spain in the late 1970s to combat crimes against drug trafficking.

It stars Hugo Silva, Álvaro Cervantes, Jesús Castro, Sara Sálamo and Miki Esparbé, alongside Pepón Nieto, Unax Ugalde, Manolo Caro and Adriá Collado, among others.

The series was also one of the 10 productions selected at the MIPDrama Buyers Summit at Miptv 2019. It is created by Pablo Barrera, Fernando Bassi and Juanjo García.
