The executive will continue to lead distribution operations outside EMEA following the integration of Banijay Entertainment and All3Media’s distribution businesses.

Banijay Rights, the distribution division of Banijay Entertainment, has appointed Matt Creasey as Senior Executive Vice President, World excluding EMEA, where he will continue overseeing the company’s distribution operations across markets outside Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Based in Los Angeles, Creasey takes on the new role following the completion of the merger between Banijay Entertainment and All3Media and the subsequent integration of both companies’ distribution businesses under the Banijay Rights umbrella.

As part of the new international structure, Creasey’s regional team will have offices in Los Angeles, Miami, Sydney and Mumbai. The former All3Media International offices in Singapore and New York will consolidate into these hubs, aligning their operations with Banijay Entertainment’s broader global production footprint.

Leading sales, acquisitions and co-productions

Creasey joined the group in 2006 as Director of Sales, Distribution at Endemol Shine International and has since built his career around expanding the international reach and exploitation of some of the group’s leading entertainment brands.

In his new role, he will report directly to Cathy Payne, CEO of Banijay Rights, and oversee sales, acquisitions and co-productions across a range of territories. He will also lead the strategic rollout of Banijay Rights’ combined global catalogue outside EMEA.

“Banijay Entertainment was built on talent and content, and that DNA runs through our distribution business. From the outset, it has been essential that my team works closely with the outstanding creatives and clients we partner with around the world,” said Payne.

She added that the company’s growing catalogue and stronger pipeline of new IP will further strengthen its global offering. “I have every confidence Matt, with his expansive experience and network, is ideally placed to continue to drive growth outside EMEA in this exciting new chapter,” she said.
