The news had been revealed by the media in February and was now confirmed by Antena 3 itself.

Antena 3 continues to bet on large, internationally successful formats for its entertainment programming.

The channel confirmed this week that it is already preparing Family Feud: la batalla de los famosos, based on the Celebrity Family Feud format.

The news had been revealed by the local press at the end of February and is now confirmed by Antena 3 itself.

Nuria Roca will be the host of this prime time format that combines “humor, competition and spectacularity.”

Produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Fremantle Spain, in Family Feud two teams made up of five famous names that have a connection to each other will face each other in several rounds to guess the most popular answers that 100 people have given to questions of all kinds.

The team that has achieved the most points will go to a final round in which they can win up to 20,000 euros that will go to a charity.

The participants of each team will have to try to locate the most common answers that that group of 100 people have answered.

For example, “things you usually do in front of the mirror” or “things you can find between the cushions on the sofa.” There are no wrong answers, however the most popular answers give the most points.

Celebrity Family Feud is a spin off of the famous Family Feud, which has taken the world by storm in recent years. Adapted in 75 countries, it is currently broadcast in 16 territories and has had a resurgence in the last year.

Only in 2020, the format has returned with great success to the United Kingdom, Australia, Argentina, Brazil and very soon it will do so in France.

Originally released in the US, it is hosted by Steve Harvey and is the most watched program of the day time. In its prime time version, the program gathers more than 8 million viewers in each broadcast.
