The balance of Screenbright Media during Content Americas 2024 is highly positive. Andrés Santos, CEO of the content distributor, commented to ttvnews that a lot of client movement can be observed. “There is an interesting growth in terms of the number of buyers and the quality of the meetings,” he said.

For the company that distributes content mostly for Latin America, Brazil, and US Hispanics, 2023 was the best year since its founding. However, they maintain high expectations for 2024, starting on the right foot in the Content Americas market.

The CEO of Screenbright Media highlighted that they are very happy with the results they are obtaining and the sales volume. “It is always difficult to sell in Latin America, but with the quality of the content we are bringing, now we have soap operas, one called My Life produced in Saudi Arabia with 250 episodes, Hollywood content, movies, documentaries, animations, all this content makes clients look for us,” he said.

Within the content to be distributed in 2024, Santos said that they have movies already released in theaters and are in talks with platforms in the region, pay TV and AVOD. “We have 200 movies already dubbed, family movies, action movies, and they work very well in open TV,” he highlighted.

So far, Santos mentioned that they have closed packages in Ecuador with TC, Peru with Latina, and Colombia through two distributors to Caracol and Tele 11 in Puerto Rico. “They are free-to-air TV channels interested in our family and action content. The telenovela My Life also has high sales expectations,” he concluded.
