The distributor is present in Croatia with its catalog of hit Turkish series, led by Deep in Love, one of the highest-rated titles of the past season in Turkey.

OGM Universe, the international distribution arm of OGM Pictures, made its way to NEM Dubrovnik for the second time, to showcase the latest successes from its vast catalog of Turkish dramas for the international market.

And leading the list is one of its biggest hits, Deep in Love, which made a massive impression in Turkey and is now ready to find new screens in the CEE region.

“Of course, the main series we want to highlight is Deep in Love“, said Canan Koca, Sales Executive for CEE, Baltics & Europe at OGM Universe, in an interview with ttvnews at the event in Croatia. “It’s a series we’re currently breaking records with. We have reached around 2 million subscribers on YouTube, 50 million views.”

“It’s set in the Black Sea region with an amazing cast,” she added. “It’s a perfect Romeo and Juliet story, about two families who are like enemies. But it’s not just one love story, there are so many characters. It has love, chaos, drama, in such a fun way. We really hope everyone loves it too.”

Under the original title Taşacak Bu Deniz, Deep in Love became one of the biggest hits of the last season in Turkey. The drama, produced by OGM Pictures for TRT 1, grew steadily with each episode, reaching high ratings and leading its competition across all demos.

The drama unfolds on the untamed coast of the Black Sea, where waves and mountains have been at war for generations. In the story, Adil Koçari, the proud leader of the mountains, returns to reclaim the land and the love he lost, but a single gunshot from Esme Furtuna should have ended everything. Instead, it all begins again. Their forbidden love ignites a storm of vengeance and desire, echoing an ancient legend where the mountain and the sea can never touch, yet never stop reaching for one another.

The distributor is also showcasing The Gentleman, another major Turkish drama which, despite ending sooner than expected, performed very well and is attracting buyers with its amazing cast.

Created by Onur Güvenatam, The Gentleman centers on Yusuf (Mert Ramazan Demir), a man who stages a calculated encounter with Dila (Mina Demirtaş) to gain entry into the powerful Kızılhan family. On the surface, Yusuf is a rescuer — charming, composed, impossible to suspect. Beneath it, he is executing a long-planned act of revenge. Through flashbacks, we learn who Yusuf once was: a man of modest dreams, undone by debt, family crisis, and loss. The woman he loved, Hazan (Melis Sezen), is now married to Sarp (Salih Bademci) and fully absorbed into the Kızılhan world. Yusuf has spent years becoming someone else, patient, strategic, and ready. Using the cover of a high-profile hotel opening, Yusuf positions himself at the heart of the family. The game has begun.

The Gentleman is the last series we aired. It’s a very good series because the cast is amazing, with Mert Ramazan Demir from Golden Boy, Mina Demirtas from Kızıl Goncalar, Salih Bademci, Melis Sezen… With this cast, many clients came to us wanting to acquire the series. It’s great. It did end sooner than we expected because the competition is so, so high. But we still got a lot of demand at this market where there are so many clients who are okay with trying it as a limited series. We’re happy with the series,” she explained.
