Despierta América, El Gordo y La Flaca, Primer Impacto, and Noticiero N+ Univision will air special live editions for three consecutive days as part of an initiative to strengthen ties with the Hispanic community.
N+ Univision will present a series of special live broadcasts this week from Plaza México in Los Angeles, featuring four of its top-rated programs. The initiative will take place from Tuesday, March 3 through Thursday, March 5, and is designed to bring the network’s news and entertainment coverage closer to the Hispanic audience across the United States.
Over the three-day event, well-known on-air talent will engage directly with the local community, highlighting stories focused on entrepreneurship, culture, current affairs and the social challenges impacting Latinos nationwide.
Despierta América will showcase the sights and sounds of Los Angeles with co-hosts Raúl González, María Antonieta Collins and Jomari Goyso. The program will feature reports from iconic locations such as La Casa del Mariachi, profiles of Hispanic entrepreneurs and a special segment with Bis La Médium.
Meanwhile, El Gordo y La Flaca will air live editions hosted by Raúl de Molina, Lili Estefan, Clarissa Molina and Carlitos el Productor, focusing on the week’s top pop culture and entertainment stories.
Primer Impacto will present high-impact stories led by Michelle Galván, Tony Dandrades and Jackie Guerrido, including profiles of community heroes, the resilience of a mother fighting for her children and a surprise moment to be revealed live on air.
Starting Wednesday, March 4, Noticiero N+ Univision will join the live coverage with anchor Ilia Calderón leading in-depth reporting on the challenges facing the Hispanic community, from the economic effects of immigration enforcement actions to housing instability and other key issues.
