French company Dandelooo is attending Content Americas with a strong slate of animated content for children and teens, with a particular focus on promoting the first season of its animated series Billy. The company is also producing a second season, scheduled to launch in late 2026.
This was shared with ttvnews by Andrea Parra, International Sales Manager at Dandelooo. “We’re at Content Americas presenting Billy, an 11-minute series produced in France. The first season, which is already completed, consists of 48 episodes, and the next season is currently in production and will be released later this year. Billy is a hamster who loves being a cowboy, is passionate about Wild West adventures, and is always with his little friend Jean Claude. It’s a very fun series,” she said.
The executive also spoke about the series Max and Bunny, which premiered on Canal Plus in December. “It’s doing very well; it’s more preschool, early preschool. It’s about a little boy and his stuffed toy that comes to life when the parents aren’t around, and together they explore the house, the garden, and also the relationship with his little sister, who goes to the same preschool.”
Another Dandelooo production is Gastón, a unicorn who struggles to control his emotions. “When he’s happy, he’s too happy; when he’s sad, he’s too sad, and his mane changes color depending on his emotions. That series is in the making and will be released in 2027,” Parra said.
In addition to its original productions, Dandelooo also handles acquisitions aligned with its educational format and core values. “We pick little gems from different countries and then distribute them ourselves, making sure they match our values and our profile. We have programs that are 100% educational but also fun for kids, teens, and preschool audiences,” the executive concluded.
