FOX Entertainment Global, the international sales and distribution division of FOX Entertainment, has announced the appointment of Sabrina Hall Aguirre as its new Director of Content Sales for Latin America. This Miami-based appointment underscores the company’s strategic commitment to deepening its reach and strengthening its commercial operations in the dynamic Latin American market.
Hall Aguirre will report directly to Cyrus Farrokh, Vice President of Sales for the US and Latin America, and will work closely with Matt Hanna, Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas.
Sabrina Hall Aguirre’s arrival is part of an ambitious growth plan for the region. Her main responsibility will be to execute FOX Entertainment Global’s content licensing strategy and lead sales operations, negotiating high-value deals across various platforms, including broadcast television, cable, SVOD (subscription video on demand), and AVOD (advertising video on demand).
According to Farrokh, the signing “reinforces our direct commitment to the region, working hand-in-hand with local partners and developing premium content—scripted, entertainment, and digital—to connect with audiences across all platforms.”
FOX Entertainment Global aims to maximize the value of its extensive global catalog while adapting its offerings to the evolving demands of Latin American consumers.
The expansion strategy includes increased investment and focus on: unscripted content, sales of formats from its successful reality shows and entertainment programs, creator-led content initiatives, and vertical and short-form video programming designed for digital platforms and social media.
Before joining FEG, Hall Aguirre had a distinguished career at PBS Distribution, where she was promoted to Sales Manager for Latin America, managing the distribution of a vast library of content. Her professional experience also includes key roles at high-profile organizations such as the International Emmy Awards, the WME agency, and the music platform Deezer, where she focused on content development, international marketing, and creative strategy.
Her knowledge of the distribution ecosystem and her experience in the Latin American market position her as a crucial asset for FOX Entertainment Global in its goal of achieving sustainable growth in the region.
