The Turkish production and distribution company held a special presentation at the beginning of the second day of the event, alongside the stars and producers of Reborn, The Fall of the King, and Six of Us.

Ready to showcase the full power of its Turkish drama catalog, OGM Universe aimed to be the star of the second day of Mipcom 2025, offering special events both morning and evening to celebrate the success of its new productions.
At the beginning of the day, the OGM Universe team held a special presentation, where the stars and creative minds behind three of its most recent dramas offered a special look behind the scenes of Reborn, The Fall of the King, and Six of Us.
The first drama to take the stage was Reborn, which premiered last September on Turkey’s Star TV to record-breaking viewership. Produced by Onur Güvenatam, directed by Burcu Alptekin, and written by Deniz Dargı, Cem Görgeç, and Mevsim Yenice, the series combines a captivating narrative with cinematic visuals and emotional intensity. At its core is a powerful cast: the chemistry between Kerem Bürsin and Lizge Cömert has been widely praised, while Sibel Taşçıoğlu and Deniz Çakır deliver outstanding performances alongside a rich supporting cast.

“The first thing that drew me to the series was the possibility of working with OGM. As an artist, I enjoy being part of a collaborative process, and that’s something that happens with OGM,” explained Kerem Bürsin. “Seeing the path the story takes is another of the great attractions I found in this title.”
For her part, his co-star, Lizge Cömer, added: “My character is very emotional and interesting to me. Kerem said I’m the lead, but this show has many characters who drive the plot. This character is one any actress dreams of having.”
“We used the premise of a heart transplant to directly address other emotions. Our characters always face obstacles, real challenges, as can occur in family relationships, and how these are resolved. In Reborn, after the heart transplant, which is the focus of the first episode, it’s about the characters and their emotions, which connects with the audience,” explained Onur Guvenatam, founder and executive producer of OGM Pictures.
The second drama presented was The Fall of the King, the acclaimed drama produced by OGM Pictures, which concluded its season last June. Since its debut, the series has consistently attracted millions of viewers, and its season finale topped the rankings in all categories, becoming the most-watched drama of the day.

Directed by Yağmur Taylan, Durul Taylan, and Cem Toluay, and adapted from the best-selling novel by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, the series features a script by Ertan Kurtulan, Eylem Akın, and Sedef Bayburtluoğlu Gürerk; and stars Halit Ergenç, Merve Dizdar, Aslıhan Gürbüz, and Nilperi Şahinkaya.
“As a psychiatrist, I treated the protagonist of this story for 20 years,” began Dr. Gulseren Budayıcıoğlu, psychiatrist and author of the novel. “I was so moved by his story that it was very difficult for me to write this book, and when I published it, I saw that it had a similar effect on readers. At the beginning of the story, readers and audiences hate this character, but this changes, and by the end, they end up crying for him, feeling what he feels.”
Regarding the main character, Halit Ergenç explained: “We all have people with narcissistic disorders in our lives, and I created one of them for this character.”
“Psychological realism is one of OGM’s strengths, and this product, based on a best-selling book and led by a stellar cast, makes a huge difference to the market,” emphasized Ekin Koyuncu, Director of Global Distribution and Partnerships at OGM Universe.
Finally, OGM Universe presented its drama Six of Us, produced by OGM Pictures and broadcast on Star TV, as one of the most successful dramas of last season. The series follows six orphaned siblings trying to survive on the unforgiving streets of Istanbul after the brutal loss of their parents. Cemo, played by Kaan Mirac Sezen, is the emotional pillar of the family: strong, wounded, and driven by justice.
