The event, taking place from October 25 to 31, brings together major industry figures, with panels and screenings of series from countries like the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Colombia, and the United States.

Xuxa, A Life On TV is competing for the Best Non-Fiction Series Award and the Special Jury Award for Non-Fiction Series alongside Paco de Lucía, flamenco legacy, Alive: the Andes plane disaster, Luz en la oscuridad, Dead in the water, On this ice: Putin vs greenpeace, SAC. EN LA MENTE CRIMINAL, (In)visibles and La historia del Reguetón.

A Globoplay Originals documentary series, the production unveils the behind-the-scenes of the personal life and career of Maria da Graça Xuxa Meneghel, one of Brazils biggest celebrities. A pop phenomenon, Xuxa has also found success in cinema and music, with box-office hits and two Latin Grammy Awards.

With over 40 years of career spanning Latin America, Europe, and the U.S., she discusses her intense routine and her relationships with the team behind the cameras and with her family, as well as the emotions surrounding her life and self-perception, all portrayed with rich nuances.

With five episodes, Xuxa, A Life On TV, a Globoplay Originals serie, has general direction by Pedro Bial, with direction by Cassia Dian and Mônica Almeida, and written by Camila Appel. The execution is by Conversa.doc, the documentary unit of the Conversa com Bial team, with production by Anelise Franco, in coproduction with Endemol Shine Brasil. The gender direction is by Mariano Boni.
